The Selfie thread.....

Ok, so the ability to take a photo of oneself now means that future generations of children will actually have photos of their Dads whilst on holidays..... As apposed to the old days where they ask 'why no photos of Dad' because he was always behind the camera......
So the idea is to post your interesting selfies up. Must be more than just you pulling a stupid face though... It's got to have some interesting content. Also, holiday snaps definatly allowed... blib!
Also, must be a 'selfie'. Taken by yourself, with no help!

king curse. I really hope they are a fad we grow out of.
Worse than simply taking a selfie, is owning a 'Selfie Stick'...
I live in the Lake District, and a month or so ago I was sat chilling on a lake shore with a beverage, when a tourist, a young Chinese girl, came walking along clearly enjoying her day out, and she stopped to take some photos of the view, a few meters away from where I was sat. Knowing the Asian love of self photographs, I spoke up and offered to take a photo of her with the view behind.
It was at that point she grinned, shook her head to say no, and whipped out an extendable stick which she clipped onto the bottom of her camera, and held it out on front of her and snapped a cheery sefie of herself, before collapsing it again and carrying on her walk.
I didn't know whether to be impressed at the ingenuity, or slightly appalled at yet another device created to avoid interaction with other humans.
Be prepared to see Selfie Sticks everywhere in a very short space of time...
