Some of these ads drive you mad, particularly the Asda ad ruined reading the article I was reading. The drop down bit about barbecue sauce!! no I wanted to know about the V12 Aston

This becoming a joke now. I know it's a business and all but I can't even browse the classifieds this morning as the Nissan X-Trail advert seizes the page up every time I try to scroll.

Please do something about this.

I've never felt the need for Adblock until this week. - This site and others have become infuriating (and harder to read/navigate) with the excessive adverts. grumpy

PH looks lovely with Adblock plus.....very clean and crisp.

If you know about AB, then why bother moaning to PH about ? They wont stop plastering ads everywhere until you and I pay to use the site.

I happily buy PH merchandise and didn't mind the adverts that were here until recently but the more invasive ones, including those that scroll the page down automatically have the opposite effect to that intended. Part of my job includes advertising, so I'm not "anti" business or a "communist" however, there are better ways...

When viewing pistonheads site, as soon as adblock gets paused the fans on the mac kick up because of all the extra system resources that are needed to allow the full motion video in several different places on the screen.

I had a problem with keyboard cut&paste today so i had to pause adblock to see if it was that, it wasn't but it gave me a real shock seeing the volume of ads now plastered around in every spare piece of screen.

It really, honestly is too much. I feel sorry for people that don't know any different to viewing it all in their unpatched versions of IE6.

It's like a bad night in vegas all these colours and ads scrolling around.

Adblock+ and google chrome, FTW.

Now there are so many car types available to choose from it took me 15 seconds - yes seriously! - to scroll down from Abarth to Volvo. Looks like someone's been busy doing the cut and paste car manufacturers.

Plain stupid.

I'm off to autotrader.

Wrong sort of ad?
Do you mean the classifieds?
