S4 B6 Supercharge Conversion anyone done it?
Discussion
Having looked at upgrading my S4 cab for an RS4 I've now decided to improve my car instead as it's a belter & I'm struggling to find any RS4 that I'd prefer.
I'm considering Supercharging my S4 as this would produce far more power than the RS & I'm interested to know if anyone has gone down this route?
I know I wouldn't get my money back & potentially the conversion would be worth as much as the car but heart is ruling head at the moment so go ahead & talk me out of it.

Talk you out of it? Nonsense.
Tuning is never about making money, it's about enjoying the process and the end result. It's your car so do what you want with it. It wouldn't be a sleeper in the traditional sense of the term but nobody is going to expect one of those to rock 500 BHP. I think that an S4 with that kind of power would seriously benefit from taller gearing.

I do love modding and appreciate all those that do it
I have done a bit of modding before but nothing that extreme
There would be a lot more to consider
Suspension
Brakes
Exhuast system
Just doing the three above won't be cheap
I would love to see an insight on a step by step from a forum member; but the sensible side of me is,
Rs4 is better looking too with the beef arches
However after seeing Chris Harris newer 3.0t s4 remapped vs rs4, makes me think
You'll loose the v8 but would a 3.0t drop in there?

Could never lose the V8 I'd miss the noise too much that's main reason I have the car. I already have full Milltek exhaust & have been assured suspension & brakes are up to the job unless I plan on tracking in which case brake upgrade recommended. I've yet to hear an s4 with any aftermarket exhaust
Is yours resonated or non
Full system too?
Any clips of the exhuast note?
It's non resonated & sounds fantastic (has resonated for 1 week but was too quiet)Is yours resonated or non

Getting milltek cat replacement pipes after next mot.
No clip but plenty on YouTube

MRC do that too, by the time he's finished with a supercharger as well, it will cost him 4 times what the car is worth. Oh, and he'll need some brakes too.It would be fun and for some that's reason enough.
Great idea!
I believe VF Enginerring offer a Eaton based off the shelf kit which is circa 500Hp at 5-6Psi.

Car sounds great but i've never been on a track day where people are allowed to overtake in corners, over take through the middle of two cars , pass on the left/the right or whatever takes their fancy.aka_kerrly said:

I guess zee Germanz are a little less touchy how you drive on their track days. I must admit theres some pretty bad form on there, the pass where he goes through between the Civic and the old Abarth 500 on the long straight Dr G said:

I'm sure it would be awesome but doesn't make any sense at all. Just buy a B8 and take it to MRC.
No tuning does, objectively. Looking for a point is missing the point. The B6 does sound great though:
