If a car with the chameleon/reflex paint gets a scratch or dent can just the 1 panel be sprayed? or does the whole car have to be sprayed?

sorry for what may appear to be a dumb question - i wondered as there are numerous colours that change did it have to be sprayed in stages etc and it would be too hard to match the original

Thanks in advance.

Hi There

Had a reflex charcoal Tuscan and now have a Chameleon Blue Tuscan - the whole panel has to be resprayed not the whole car!! Apparently Chameleon is one of the easier colours to match as well - happy days!!

I have been told in the past by the sprayer I use that not all the colours are available so that would then require a complete respray. It's something to do with certain tints not being available in a water based paint. It would be best to double check the situation of the exact colour of the car you are interested in with a reputable sprayer or one of the TVR specialists who should also be available to advise you.
