Recommend me a bottled beer

I'm a big fan of Bewdog and Williams Bros beers, there's a lot of variety from both of those.
I'm also a big fan of wheat beer, one of the ones I've been drinking currently is Blanche De Namur. very
Easy drinking.

Both are utterly delicious, but the latter demands caution with a voltage into double figures.

Doom Bar for me.

I like trying all sorts, but it's Doom which is my "banker"

Great thing with Doom is that it can take being cold, and I mean ice cold.

Try sticking it in the fridge, same way as you would lager etc

Just ordered my Christmas ales:

5 x Thornbridge Jaipur
4 x Badger Golden Champion
4 x Badger Fursty Ferret
3 x Old Golden Hen
3 x Fullers ESB
3 x Whitstable Bay

As has been mentioned above, I actually prefer all of these beers out of the fridge!

Can't wait for that first Jaipur on Christmas Eve....

My No 1 beer that. Waitrose are now stocking Sierra Nevada Torpedo and what a fine brew that is. Just don't drink more than one or two...

I used to love things like that, but I have definitely turned the corner towards real ales now.

I won't buy a lager unless there is no other choice!

Any of the golden or amber ales out of the fridge are much superior, IMO.

I was tempted with that.... the Sierra Nevada IPA gets good reviews, as well.

I think it's filtered rather than pasteurised so whilst not live, it tastes fresher than a lot of bottled beers

Surprised Timothy Taylor hasn't been mentioned yet, award winning ales and you can see why. Not sure if Butcombe is sold outside the west country but their Gold brew is lovely. Another good one from round here is Gem by Bath Ales. Used to like Doom Bar a lot but been a bit disappointed by it lately. Innis & Gunn mentioned earlier is fabulously rich in flavour but not cheap.
