front tow point
Discussion
There's no tow front toe eye point on the Commodore. Its says in the manual to connect to the holes in both front chassis legs, but surly that would that be a disaster, firstly my car is too low for that and even if you manage connect it up it would rip off the front bumper once the tension is taken up. what do you do if the car needs to be recovered from the the roadside? I find it a bit worrying.
Someone (I can't remember who, sorry) had a rather nifty tow hook fabricated. It was a screw hole welded to the chassis leg and poking out from the lower grill. It was very neat and discrete. The idea being that when it is needed, all you had to do was screw in a tow hook.

If you want some more details, PM me - it's my car - and it is very neat. Gassing Station | HSV & Monaro | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
