Hello,

I ordered a set of front silicon wipers for my A3 Sportback.

Fitted them yesturday, by cleaning screen with the PIAA cleaner, then doing the Screen Protect, then fitting wipers and running for 5 mins.

The front left one does not fit properly even though it is the same size as the OEM one that came off. When you turn the wipers off they are supposed to drop down below view, this now happens about once every 4 times instead of every time, and even then it looks too long in the car.

Also, both of the wipers are leaving what looks like a long streak of grease, the right one leaves it vertically down the right side of the screen, the left one leaves it diagonally straight across field of view.

Now everyone says these wipers are "streak free" and "silent" but mine aren't streak free and I can hear them wipe. Any thoughts?

Here is some pictures from an iPhone:

How the left one rests when turned off:

Any ideas? Are they faulty?

Can't help but really, £60+ for wipers?

These will work just as well for less than 1/10th

How much yikes That truly is shocking. It's what I would expect to pay for discs and pads.

They won't work as well, they don't have a sillicone layer.

£60 for wipers :O wowzers!

You'd have been better off just buying a new set of OEM ones & spending £10 on a water repellent coating like Duxback, Aquapel etc...

Well as yours don't seem to work at all, that's a silli thing to say?

I bought some bosch jobbies, about £7 each. Pefect vision. Stick yours in the bin and get some proper wipers.

That was the thread I followed which lead to the purchase.

Mine don't work because I didn't clean it properly.
