I was recently a witness at a Crown Court. According to the Courtserve website the case has now finished.

Is there anyway of finding out the verdict and sentence, preferably online?

Thanks.

Chances are it made the local press. Try searching for the name of the defendant along with the name of the court.

You could also call the court, as it's public information.

This. Call them, tell them you were a witness and ask what the outcome was.

If the court staff get funny with you,I would have thought the witness support people would find out for you or the police officer you dealt with if you were a prosecution witness.

Thanks for the replies. I've seen the lawpages and the case results aren't really up to date. I was hoping there was a quick way to check online but it looks like I'll have to ring up.

Cheers

The case results on Law Pages don't include every case.

Something of an understatement.

Just thought I'd update. The Police rang to tell me the verdict and to thank me for my attendance, which was nice.
