2001 SL500 Silver Arrow
Discussion
I have an SL500 Silver Arrow that I own with a pal. It was a bit tired so we had it sorted out over the winter with new bumpers, alloys sorted and it is up to date with services. It has 110k on the clock but a FSH (Not all Merc).
I have no idea of the value and the co-owner doesn't want it anymore. Are these worth more than the standard R129 models owing to there only being 100 made.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For no reason whatsoever, the Silver Arrows have recently increased in price.
I don't believe some of these prices are entirely justified, even with mega low mileage.
I would price it less than a 60 AMG model but being the run out model, it would probably be worth a tad more than the last few years of the the R129 500 models.
Being summer, it shouldn't have a problem selling if it's priced well with the decent condition and provenance you've described.
Non MB main dealer service history doesn't matter too much - people would not expect recent MD history. A Mercedes Specialist history is what some buyers seek with older models
Good luck with the sale.
