Advise sought - A Class Gear Box Control Unit

Hi everyone - Need some advice / help please.

The following items have failed on our A class and are the parts from Mercedes are quite expensive to say the least !

MAF Sensor (Part of the ECU)

Gear Box Control Unit.

Does anyone know where I can get these either refurbished or replaced and can secondhand parts 'marry' to another vehicle ?

I must admit I've found very mixed success of repairing gearbox control units on these. They seem to go wrong again quite quickly. Furthermore, sometimes to put a new control unit in and 1 week afterwards the gearbox its self goes pop.

Personally, bearing in mind the value of the car, I'd have a long think as to whether it is worth spending money on it.
