Bloody livid!

Can anyone tell me why a towbar fitter would need to turn off the child locks on rear doors to be able to fit a towbar?

Just discovered that our Bletchley based '1st' one in the book installer descided to do just that, only we were at 60mph on the A6!

That really is the icing on a st cake of an install. Damage to a rear light cluster, damaged luggage cover, damaged stowage cover in boot and at least half a dozen plastic gromet type clips missing. Oh and over charged for the privilege,

Bloody livid!

Would the battery have been disconnected, thus setting the locks to the default off position.

I don't know the answer, just wondering.

The rest sounds like a very shabby job though.

No electrical reset, it is a mechanical switch near the catch of each door.

Away on hols now, he was away last week so could not complain about the additional problems but he already knew about the over charging, they didn't provide a break down on the invoice it is just a one line 'supply and fit towbar'
