Its only TWO weeks until this AMAZING petrolhead event !! I thought we really should have a convoy from our area. Im in the Newton Abbot area, going via Exeter, Taunton & A303. Anyone up for this brilliant day out ?

We're (hopefully) booked into the PH parking thing. Not sure how it works though.

Found out yesterday that had I pulled my finger out sooner 'd have got free tickets as part of the Maserati 100 year publicity machine, erm, I mean celebrations.

I'll be going from Exeter, wasn't planning to go via the M5 though unless a group are meeting people at Taunton?

We're going from Exeter, Pennsylvania end.

However I doubt we'll get off before 9am, my wife isn't what you'd call a morning person.

If youve put your name on the Piston Heads Car Park list you will receive a email of a P/H graphic to print & display on arrival at the car park entrance. Im happy meet at any mutually agreeable point to convoy to Wilton. Previous experience tells me a 7am meet at Exeter Servs is pretty good. Especially if we dont like queues !! Im sure we dont ! Its ONLY 11 days to go !!

Gutted, missing it AGAIN, after only going twice in the last few years.
But, I'll be crossing Switzerland on my way to Stelvio insteadon this day, so not all bad...

Well it's a very quiet thread this one!

I'll be leaving Exeter 7-7.30am, I'm only 2mins away from the services if anybody does fancy meeting up, planning on heading up the A30/303 not the M5 unless there are people waiting at Taunton to meet up.

Hopefully see a few people on Sunday smile

There should be a couple of Cobras,a GT40 and a F430 leaving from Longwell Green McDs at 7am if anyone wants to join us.
Of course the weather will need to be bright and dry and not raining for that to happen.
Fingers crossed.

There are 2 "7 o'clocks" on a Sunday?

I've cancelled the PH parking as there's no way we'll get there before 11am, and it looks like we'll be in the 24 year old Carina as well (unless Eurospares come up trumps this afternoon).

Yes there are - my missus is thrilled at finding that out, especially as we have a baby sitter for saturday night!

Weather report isn't looking too great but hey, since when did they get ever get it right?! Not bothered unless the parking is in a field & people churn it up...

Given the weather forecast we've just decided to head up to Castle Hill today, and visit in-laws etc tomorrow.

This means that if anyone wants a couple of Wilton House tickets for free then they need send a pm. If you're quick off the mark and going to Castle Hill then I can hand them over, or collect from EX4 postcode this evening.
