Engine Swaps - Cutting the Firewall

Hi Guys,

Contemplating an engine swap which definately requires the firewall to be moved back and one of the chassis rails to be cut into.

Is this a complete no-go legality-wise, or could modifications be done to still keep it legal (and safe)?

If it were me I would neatly cut the whole bulkhead out and shift it back
