P38 upper and lower swivel ball joint replacement

Any one done this or paid a stealer to do it?
Does it need any special tools

Note that he used a balljoint removal tool. Not done a P38, but it looks like the bottom ball joint on my Sprinter van. That's done either with a similar tool to the one he used - or, in my case, I removed the carrier & pressed it out. I have a 10 ton press & it took some doing!
