Well i managed a triple whammy today, wife wanted to do the Sunday car boot but i decided we should do the rail trail walk along the old disused line between Goathland and Grosmont on the North Yorkshire moors railway, caught the steam train from Pickering to Goathland then walked on the old disused line to Grosmont, just before you get to Grosmont station there's a row of old workers cottages and there in the car park was a new 14 plate F Type coupe, that's the first one I've ever seen what a car, as i walked up the hill over looking the Grosmont station works sheds you could see the Sir Nigel Gresley been refueled ie coal and water and just then the Lancaster bomber flew over head returning from the Sunderland airshow on her way home, followed by I think a Spitfire, well it could not get any better than that, what a picture that would of made and to finish it off the steam train back to Pickering, well worth the effort if your ever up that way.
