Hi folks I've not been on this forum log or had my monaro for long but i am thinking of selling it due to a lot of reason really but non of them have anything to do with the car. Infact I'm totally in love with it but scensoredt happens I suppose.
What I'm wanting help from you guys with is valuing it.
So here's the details of the car it's a phantom black monaro vxr 55 plate 45 thousand miles it's in very good condition some age related marks but nothing to serious the upgrades are HARROP 112 supercharger (non-intercooled)
Pedders fully adjustable coilovers
ACT twin plate clutch and lightened flywheel
Monkfish road response pack
AP Racing brakes
Wortec Headers, Free flow cats and exhaust
Rip shifter
Spigot bearing and slave cylinder changed out
Walkinshaw 19" alloys
So I would love to here your thoughts on value.
Thanks Eric

All 6l vxr are small boot.

That car only did 385rwhp at srr.
Worse than an na ls1.

It needs a cam.

Good luck with the sale though.
If it's a genuine vxr500 then you should sell as such.
Might help push the price up a tad.

Stop being gay.
Facts are facts.

OP can post up a newer srr dyno if he wants.

car is an unofficial VXR500, initial work mainly done by Greens to customers requirements but not one of the official few cars built.

However long someone has been on the forum shouldn't be a factor. I'm with Ringram. You cannot re-write history.

Anyway, 385rwhp is good for a supercharger only, and I bet a 112 is really lively on the road - so dyno figures are only half of the picture.

OP, as others have said, you have the later small boot model, with 6 litre LS2 engine, and you have over 100rwhp more than we have on our Ute.

Good luck with the sale. You haven't had the car long, and prices have been firm for the past couple of months, so it should be worth what you paid for it. smile

It's not a 500 but look almost identical. I'm not sure of it's output that's not why I bought it it's the sound that got me. What I do know is it's fast enough to get in to trouble. I don't know if I can bring myself to sell it last night it was going but this morning it's all change.
The main reason for selling it can from going out in it for a drive with the wife. As we were driving I past a lay-by and a guy gave me the wcensoredr sign that didn't really bother me it was what the wife said afterwards. She said to me she would have done the same as the guy because the car is obnoxious and loud and it would only be a certain person that would drive it. I don't know why but that just really got under my skin

Trade in the wife. You may get a good deal pxing the wife depending on condition and running costs.
