Quality of Ibanez RGA guitars? Or Edge Zero trems?

Following a brief ownership that involved a return to the shop for a lifting 22nd fret, then a trip back to the factory for a trem that always comes back sharp when pulling up, I've rejected my Ibanez JS100. To be fair the shop (Sounds Plus) agree entirely that it's a reject case, but googling suggests that this isn't an isolated case with the Indonesian factory trem systems.
They can't undo the original deal as they've already sold my trade-in, so have offered either a refund or a very good price on a Japanese made RGA Prestige. Anyone got experience of using one, or other Japanese made guitars with the Edge Zero trem?
