ASTONFEST 2015
Discussion
I dont think there are any major Aston Martin model anniversaries next year (sure someone will be along soon to correct me on this, but its a year too early for the Db6 and 65th anniversary of a Le Mans win would be a weak justification for an AM track parade).
And I'm guessing looking at the calendar that the Silverstone Classic will be 25th/26th July.
So if we could just get the 200 db7s that went to Silverstone to come to Ed-2015, then we could be in with a shout at a record...

It says on Wiki that DB6 launch was 1965? After this years success I'm sure any event will be well supported. And I'm guessing looking at the calendar that the Silverstone Classic will be 25th/26th July.

I knew it
For some reason I always thought of the DB6 as being 1966 (ie after the DB5 63-65). I keep forgetting that AM works to a September model year...
Still the main thing is that the DB7s might be available for Ed-Fest 2015(and there are both a lot of those, 200 at Silverstone last weekend, and the owners seem to be enthusiastic about attending events)

Astonfest sounds too German, AMFest sounds a bit more catchy IMO, although it is not as obvious.
I am not capable of doing it, but howzabout having AMFest in the wings of the Aston Martin logo? This would surely make it recognizable to all Pistonheads who see it?

Agree with you on the AMFest.I am not capable of doing it, but howzabout having AMFest in the wings of the Aston Martin logo? This would surely make it recognizable to all Pistonheads who see it?

Deliberately, steered away from the Aston Martin logo in any way - just in case AM decided to become 'arsey' about it (I.e non-sanctioned event etc, etc).
