Dead iPad

I let my iPad drain of power as I was using a laptop for a few weeks instead. Now it won't take a charge, reset or turn on. When on charge the Apple logo flashes on for 10 seconds then disappears - it keeps doing this. Nothing wrong with the charger or cable..... The pc won't charge it.

Any thoughts?

It won't charge off a PC at all - but I thought there might just be enough juice in it that iTunes might recognise it.

It's been on the mains charger for two days and is absolutely dead. Before this it was working just fine.

Yes done that.... loads of times.

It's totally unresponsive. The Apple logo flashes on for a few seconds but then it goes black again....
