F430 Challenge conversion

Does anyone know if its possible to convert these cars to road use.

Yes. Autofficina converted one last year. I'm not sure how useable it was!

Did see that one when it was still in transition, so it actually made it on to the road?
Why do you feel it is not as useable on the road (obviously negating the specific track buttons!)

Yes - I saw it whilst it was being converted although I didn't get to see it after it was road registered.

The car was very low, as you'd expect. I'd imagine that you'd feel every single imperfection in the road. God help you if you have speed bumps close to your house!

Getting in and out was a nightmare (roll cage) - I've recently lost a ton of weight and am a lot more agile than I used to be but I wouldn't want to be a fatty and have to drag my arse over the cage every time I want to use the car.

You also lose the front boot if that's of any concern.

If you wanted a track car that you could drive to and from the circuit I reckon it'd be OK so long as you stuck to smooth roads. For a weekend toy I think you'd end up losing a lot of what makes the car magic in order to get it useable.

a few have been done in america, the suspension is allegedly a little rough
