Remote switching to home

Hi all

I'm looking at using remote switching at my home using my iPhone. I've been looking at the Belkin Wemo switch but this looks really aimed at switching something on or off, like lights.

To control my device I want to 'toggle' a contact. Basically trigger what would be a non latching pushbutton.

Does anyone know of a product that works like this? i.e. closes a really contact for say 2 seconds?

It's for opening and closing gates.
