I had the pleasure of a stop at The Horn today.

Dining experiences don't get much better.

Superb!

Is this the place that sells caravans on the way up to Dundee?

Not so many places like that left these days. Even motorway service stations tend to just be a BP/Shell/Esso plus a McD/Burger King etc. I like the Horn, stopped there many times over the years. The bacon rolls are legendary but I find a bit tough to eat with a dry mouth due to hangover... very salty.

Indeed.

It's fallen off a cliff quality wise.

Which is a shame.

Eric. Remember I had a trip to London last Christmas with a Cocker spaniel pup? Stopped off at the Horn for a mega breakfast then , in the car park met a really friendly chap with a (replica) C type Jaguar. His car was a beautiful example of the type, and, remember, this was December!

Top breakfast, top car, top man!
