It's time for some new discs as once again the drilled holes are starting to get small cracks running from them. This wouldn't happen with slotted I guess but is there a down side? Any suggestions or brands?
I'm happy enough with their stopping power but this always happens after (quite) a few miles.

Not sure what size discs you have on a red rose, but I was not happy with the brakes on my T350, and spoke to Dom at TVR power and he said that I could upgrade to 330mm grooved discs and Carbone Loraine C something or other pads as they would "suit my driving style" no idea what he means, but so far very pleased with them , will let you after Friday as I have track day at Donnington

I think the general consensus is drilled discs are not good long term discs for road cars due to cracking.

Fundamentally they are better discs for cooling hence they are used in racing but in racing they are changed at a much higher frequency than regular discs that are only used on the road.

I'd recommend normal ventilated discs (not grooved) but with a good compound pad unless you are spending a lot of time on the track.

Good luck.

Thanks Clive, CL is also where I ended up via the guys at both Bespoke in Ware and Power. One more trackday on the old drilled discs then a change to these new slotted 330s from CL.

Loved them on track at Donnington streets in front of the original ones, I was so much more confident coming in to corners and not wooden like the original , they have brought out rear ones as well now, must learn to stay away from TVR power as they keep giving me ideas and taking my money

I have recently swapped to the Brummiewedge 330mm Grooved Discs with DS2500 pads and the difference is amazing. Brakes have much more bite and strong firm pedal feel. Highly recommendedn!!

Can someone give me a link to the 330 disks and spacer plus pads to fit my 2002 Tamora, as everything I choose to buy for the Tam seems to be wrong..

Plus I note that the pads are mostly for racing/track day use, do they do fast road pads to go with the disks. Again, I note there are variations on callipers, and chances are I would choose the wrong ones..
