RAF Coningsby and Wittering

Thank you to all memebers of TVRCC that supported the above events last week.

The air display at Coningsby was awesome and the opportunity to use the runway at Wittering to stretch the cars legs was a welcome opportunity.

As well as us having fun, money was raised for charities and a fair anmount of interest was generated in the cars and TVR in general.

The first I knew of the Coningsby Families Day on the club site was so close to the event that I had no time to consider travelling down.
This was a real shame as I spent many happy hours in the motor club at Coningsby repairing and then selling on cars. And playing rugby, badminton and hockey against Coningsby and Wittering where my brother was stationed at each. Maybe next time?

Hi Iain, a website exists (not official) which details events. As it is not official maybe some caution is needed but it seems accurate. The difficulty for me is identifying who the PO is for each event. Once done, they are always helpful although it can take time.

There is another planned for Wittering next year but Coningsby is every two years
