OBD port

Does anyone know how to connect the tvr software using the obd port, for some reason I cannot connect using the normal serial but my local indi has no problen through obd,

OBD Pin2 goes to Pin 2 of the DSub9 Female Plug
OBD Pin3 goes to Pin 3 of the DSub9
OBD Pin5 goes to Pin 5 of the DSub9
