At long last the chim is back in one piece. Almost.

Both the black plastic collars that cover the toadstool at the base of the door mirrors are chewed. Any idea if replacements are available, or anyone came up with a good alternative?

Also need new rubber seals for around the door opening lock / silver buttons on the rear wings. Any ideas?

Any suggestions much appreciated.

I dont think the covers are available anywhere but I have taken one off a brand new mirror and am having it drawn up on a cad system then printed by our printer at work. I will post some pictures when done.

Long time ago now and hope you might be able to help, do you still have the cad drawing, if you do could I buy a copy of the file as I need to get 2 collars made.

Mike Phillips (Phillpot) has a part for a pattern and I can CAD it up fairly easily. It looks like a pretty simple part.

Do you have someone who can 3D print? If not then I may be able to get some done, at his cost price.

You would have to sand the print down, prime and paint it. Printing quality isn't great as it comes off the machine.

PM me if you want to discuss.

Do I remember someone using something like a black plastic pipe reducer or something as a collar?

Long thread but there are two replacement options discussed on this thread, both made from pipe reducers easily acquired from eBay. One black plastic, the other is stainless steel
