I seem to sleep less and less, still fell knackered most the time.
Used to be in bed 10pm without fail, these days it's 11:30 and have to be up 5:30. 6 hours tops, with falling and waking times probably 5.5 tops.

I feel tired but still function. Lady Burg can go to bed any time from 6pm on and still sleep till 7am.
So how much does everyone sleep?
Feeling wide awake despite being up since 5:30 and had a cheeky beer or 6.

Ive voted 6, although this isn't all the time.

Ill sleep around 6 hours every night, but then one night a week, usually a Wednesday or a Thursday, ill be in bed by 10 and out of it till 7:30am the next day.

Are we talking solely about over night or do we need to add in daytime sleep as well?

If left to sleep naturally (no alarm clock or other rude awakening) I will remain utterly fast asleep for 10 hours easily before waking naturally.

But... Life gets in the way of that and I tend to go to sleep at midnight and awake at 7:30, which leaves me feeling totally destroyed and zombie like for at least an hour or so after waking.

Generally if I am woken at all before 10am I am like the walking dead. It's awful.

Regularly have 7 during the week, as does the steering committee.

We make up for it at the weekends, though; for us - on a Saturday and Sunday - there is just one eleven o' clock, and that's 11 p.m.

Used to be 4-5. I was constantly tired. Caused me a few problems, one of them being occasional heart palpations and another was weight gain. Now get at least 7 usually and am in the best shape of my life, and no palpitations!

Rarely asleep before 2am, rarely sleep past 6am. right now I've been up since 4.45am yesterday.

It only gets tiring physically or mentally if I get under 3 hours consistently for a week or more, or drink a stload of booze and it's crap sleep.

I sleep between 7-8 hours a night and that's what I sleep without waking up to an alarm clock, I can get by on a lot less but for me to feel absoutly fresh as a daisy that's my optimum smile if I sleep any more I wake up just as tired as if I slept less smile

During uni term time, I'm lucky to get 6 hours a night during the week, sometimes only 5. By Friday I'll be like a zombie.
When left to mg own devices, I can easily sleep for 10 hours.
I like my sleep sleep

I go to bed around 10:00pm and am supposed to sleep through until 6:00am. Never happens. In he summer I am likely to wake with the dawn. Since that is just before 4:00am in midsummer that can be early. In winter I might sleep until six and even need the alarm.

I like it. I love the early morning. Best time of the day.
