918 spyder on stop ?

Any confirmed news why the 918 spyder production is on stop because of some faults ?

We delivered one in London last night. There have been issues but there always will be with this kind of car.

Apparently serious enough issues to halt production.
I am sure the others also have issues,but not enough to halt production to rectify.

old news......precaution measure now sorted, and it was not a stop production just check before deliver.......ho and I have the email sent to the OPCs..and its US cars only....

Per another forum (rennteam), someone who has one on order has confirmed the stop sale. Rear axle lower trailing arm quality issue it seems.

The factory does close down for several weeks August, so that will clearly add a delay.

Interesting. As of yesterday, all was well in 918 Land... So I guess its old news as Apolo mentioned?

I know, but its not just that, its heat soak and the batts....the problem for these cars is the thermal management of the batts, if it gets just a few d to hot, not only do you lose massive power, but it wont hold its charge either.....

I have driven a Laf....the ICE engine is epic, but the e-power input is very small......

I have driven one at Seville, Valencia , and round Monaco, next drive the end of this month.....
