Sony W829 Wall mounting?

Reading in here has convinced me of the right decision to buy a 50" W829 ovet the equivalent LG 50LB650V here in Ireland. The only fact is that it will be wallmounted to a chimmeny breast and I am concerned that what looks to be quite a bulbous rear section will cause it to sit to proud.

Is this a non-issue compared to a standard set and has anyone got photos of theirs wall mounted please? I also read something about the stand becoming a wall bracket - is this any good or should I buy a dedicated wall mount?

I finally have my first dedicated TV/Cinema room and so want to make the right decision.
