Popped along to this after work yesterday. Fantastic event and some astonishing stuff there.
Impromptu visit so only crappy phone pics but here are a few things that caught my eye.

AC Frua 428. Only the second one I've ever seen in the metal. Superb!

Couple of early Cooper S Minis. First with appropriate plate. Second has genuine works Monte history (and looking very original).

Dino 246 GT and Ferrari F40

Sublime Iso Grifo

And then another. This one a Series 2. One of 17 built of which, like this one, only 3 RHD. Car of the day, for me.

Glorious Ferrari 275 gts. One of 19 RHD.

Definitely on my wish list! Maserati Khamsin.

Not sure what this is. But looks good fun.

Ferrari F50

Lastly, lovely 3.0 CSL.

Great event!!

I popped along yesterday too on the bike - was good fun, and even managed a small wheelie in front of the cops without being nicked, bonus!

A great event. Small enough to be able to enjoy, large enough to attract some interesting cars.

Nice to see something other than boring E types, Ferraris and MGs etc. The usual "classic car" fodder was there too but you had enough rarities to make it worthwhile.

Not sure what this is. But looks good fun.

It's a rebodied Lotus VI, one off and restored by the driver, it was in Classic and Sportscar some time ago.

Always one of my favourite events. A real mix of cars with something for everyone. Did you see the vintage \Bentley looking thing that started life as a 1983 Freight Rover dropside truck? I don't usually like replicas but this was really well done. The nice thing about this show is the variety. I heard someone say that they should group cars by marque but I like it that you can have a Lancia sedan next to a Renault Caravelle.

Hman, not sure as too far away but two bikes that seemed to be together enjoying(!) the moment.

Jon, thanks for the info and most interesting. Not the only XI there either, if I remember correctly.

Alex, I didn't see the Bentley rep, unfortunately but there were a few pre war bentleys there, I think. I agree about not segregating the Marques. It is the eclectic nature that gives it it's charm. Bit like the pre 74 car park at goodood revival. Last year I saw a gt6 next to a 275 gtb and I couldn't decide which I liked more......

Classic on the Common has always operated on mixing things up - and it's all the better for the spectators as a result.

I think it was 2006 I first took the 1930 Morgan Three Wheeler. Parked next to a Porsche 911 convertible (80s at a guess). An absolute hoot as its owner got really upset that crowds kept swarming around the Morgan and all but ignored his car.
