E46 M3 Convertible Roof Removal

I noticed recently a liquid under the roof when it was folding away, the roof was slow to retract and so I had the local BMW MD have a look.
It turns out that I have a common fault, the hydraulic hoses that carry the fluid for the roof mechanism have perished and need to be replaced, the parts are something silly like £50 but the labour on the work is 10 hours and BMW MD offered a reduced price of £1300 to do the work.
My question is this, does anyone know a good indie in the Telford-Wolverhampton-Birmingham area that would under take this work on the roof and can it be done for less than the £1300?
I am actually looking to sell the car due my divorce and the need to sell for the financial settlement, no one wants a convertible with a roof that doesn't work but I am weighing up can I reduce the price by enough for someone to get the roof done themselves.
