Franchising a business...

I'm considering franchising a business, and my usual first step on most things is to buy a good book - there are lots out there - any recommendations.

Or even better, anyone on here done it successfully?

Thanks, but the majority of these links are about people wanting to start a business (and possibly buying a franchise to do so).

There is one link that is a bit useful, but doesn't appear to be any direct experience of franchising. Maybe a bit too specialist for PH.

I started a business and franchised to over 500 stores worldwide. A lot of good fortune, missed the kids first few years and ended up with my business partner ripping me off. But, the company was successful. Shoot me an email if you fancy a chat.
