Just watching the clip...pretty fine editing...although something seems to have gone wrong in the upload as it appears that it goes in 'fast forward' mode at certain points biggrin

Looking forward to seeing even more.

Well done guys! Glad you all had a great time.

I'm jealous! smile
Just watched it myself and thought how an AM can sound and look like it is going very quickly when driven within the confines of our speed limits, must have been annoying waiting for the 2 cars doing the 35 mph overtake before you could get up to 60 to go past them biggrin

Looks like you had a good time and unlike Selon I am not jealous at all, Honestly.

I think that was just some random car, actually. We passed the camera's about all day amongst all the black cars that were there

You could've came in the Polo, mate.

Nevermind, we'll let you off this time only wink

Be sure and let us know when you're heading up and we'll make sure we're free as well.

Now, how are you getting on with planning the Welsh Weekender for 2015? biggrin

WW2015? Depends scratchchin How do you feel about chasing the Red Baron? Next summer seems a long way off at the moment but IF we were to do it again I think an anglo-german event might work. The Porsche forum is just too big to post details there so maybe we could just keep it to a select group of real enthusiasts who choose to keep in touch with us in the meantime wink

BTW - seriously fancying a proper HH early next year. When does Spring arrive in Scotland? about the same time that Summer arrives in England isn't it? tongue out

Molly

I've no issue chasing down the ladybug wink

We touched on hh2015 and our plan would be to hold it, properly, around September weekend next year.

We'd love to do WW around the same time (end of June) next year if you guys are game to plan it?

In the meantime, if you're desperate to come up here beforehand just tell me and we'll sort something out.

Spring, btw, is June 3rd. Summer is June 4th, for a couple of days if we're lucky.

Scotty...this time of year would be good. We met 2 cars and 1truck only on the 68 miles from Lairg to Tongue, and only one motor home all day! Maybe the gales kept the s away (or blew them away!!)
Rob you're a knob to have missed this!

I suggest you guys bump your nappers together, then shoot me some dates for a spring fling. We'll chuck some darts at the map at that point and plan up from there.

Another ste video for you. Apologies for the picture, but I couldn't help the rain, the big man upstairs wasn't being too kind to us at this point.

Anyway, you should be able to get some idea of the scenery we enjoyed smile

  • insert babel fish* I say chaps, why don't you two good fellows have a chat and let me know which dates suits one best?
Then, you can let me know and I'll have a look at the map and formalise a plan.

Got back to Aberdeen yesterday afternoon from the best 5 days & 600 miles of driving I have ever had (even with the missus for the last bit!)and the new friends that I met for the first time and look forward to meeting under similar circumstances next year.

Never been so happy to look at my "yirded" AM and being unable to clean it - Scott will translate for those from other side of the wall!!
