95 year differences

hello just joined after tyre-kicking for a couple of months.
bought an auto 2007 95 aero estate 2.3 turbo petrol.
what a car!! silky smooth gearbox had a 05 535d last year and I think the saab box is smoother.
one wee question, the rear bumper is slightly damaged and I've found an 05 bumper for sale. will it fit my 07 model?, and will most of the other parts fit too?

I'd be tempted to say that the bumper would not fit if it were from an '05 model. 2006 was when they went "Dame Edna" with the black headlight surrounds on the facelift and that's the one I imagine you have. 2005 would be pre-facelift and different bumpers.

I may be wrong though, do you have a picture/link of/to the bumper in question?

I'd agree - except the dame edna has chrome headlight surrounds normally.

Front bumpers are certainly different between 2005 and 2007. Never looked at the rears that closely.

Looking at them together they look more different than I first thought.

And you're right, the 2007 does have chrome headlight surrounds (as well). It's always the black that I notice more personally
