Hi chaps, sorry for the post but I've tried searching and I can't find the username of the chap that is always recommended for wedding rings.

Cheers!

Another couple of options from this parish:-

ecain63, and
Domh (Dominic Hackett of Hackett Watches)

Both decent chaps.

I can recommend Howard/Nightmare. Excellent service and fantastic product. My gf (now fiancé) was over the moon with the engagement ring I bought her via Howard.

I'm yet to hear from Nightmare, despite PM'ing him.

How about I invite any PH'ers to get in touch with me?

I need a ring ASAP and I'd love to put my money your way.

Pretty sure this is the guy my husband (also a PHer) got my engagement and wedding rings through, and they are absolutely stunning. I had no input into the design (or any idea he was going to propose, actually) and it is more beautiful than anything I've seen in a shop window. By far.

I bought me (fiancée's) engagement ring from Howard at the tail end of last year. The finished product was superb and the cost was very good, but if I had one criticism it would be that occasionally he took a few days to respond. He seems to travel a lot but was always apologetic if there was a delay.

Completely worth waiting a day or two though. He did a brilliant job of converting my poor description of what I wanted into the exact ring that I was looking for.

I'm the same, sometimes work gets on top of you.

Probably the excitement of me wanting to get it sorted, so I'll hold fire going elsewhere.

I have a picture to send him of what she hinted at liking some time back, so hopefully this will be one of the easiest sales of his life.

Howard/nightmare is currently making me an engagement ring and he has been a pleasure to deal with.

He must be working hard on it :-)

I'm probably being over keen, and apologise to Howard.

Calling Nightmare... You said it would be ready tomorrow... 3 emails over the past week and no reply...

Planned to propose next week, have other things organised and I really need a response.

If 4th Oct arrives without the ring then I've lost the cost of the ring on other arrangements...

See it as an omen. Lucky escape, if you will.

I've had the money hanging around in my sock drawer for 2 months; omen or not it's missing some interest! I want to spend it this week or its going back until someone can do as promised.

We've been together for 10 years so I doubt much will change...

As for the tantrums, although I'm generally quite irritable I think my writing probably comes across more snotty than intended tongue out
