Anyone know anything more on this car?

Never owned an Alfa Romeo but this thing looks gorgeous. When do the order books open?

What is for certain:
- A prototype exists.
- It was shown at the detroit motorshow
- The proto had an Acropovic exhaust
- It was shown without roof as no final version exists
- Lead time for a standard car is 18 months or so

Rumors
- The typical central exhaust may not become available aftermarket
- Even when it does: only via Alfa
- Likely to be a hugely expensive option
- Roof will be a fabric one
- Scheduled for production. But so was the MiTo GTA, and that never happened.
- Shares chassis with standard car which limits production

... basically : 2016-2017 deliveries. If that.

As an update, in mainland Europe orders are being taken, but no word of any pricing as far as I can tell.

Think I'll have a stroll down to the local Alfa dealer and see what I can find out. If they're taking deposits I'll probably put one down.

What did they say? (Mine tells me they are not taking orders yet)

Word out there is that delivery can take up to three years. Not sure how accurate that is but there you go.
