This entertaining video is from the last few minutes of the 4 hour championship FunCup race at Donington Park at the weekend. As usual the racing went right down to the wire with the race being lead by 4 different cars in the last ten minutes. Enjoy some very close racing from experts Nigel Greensall from Team Racelogic and Neil Plimmer from Team Honeywell as they trade places lap after lap! Unfortunately the battle was cut short by an enforced stop-go penalty for Nigel as their last pitstop was 1s too short, but the race was still lead by 3 different cars before the end of the race a few minutes later.

To all involved, FunCup continues to deliver fiercely competitive racing, with pro-drivers (including guest appearances from current Touring Car drivers) mixing it with keen amateurs in one of the friendliest and accessible endurance series in Europe. Many pro-drivers say the FunCup car is one of the best race cars they have driven with its lightweight go-kart like handling and sequential gearbox. I love it!

Great driving from both, an excellent example of experienced drivers who allow each other racing room without incidents, shame about the forced pit stop !!

Looking forward to Anglesey in just over seven weeks time. if we hadn't snapped a throttle cable and opted for a wet set up, we might have been the ones giving you a run for your money. bouncesmokindriving

There are plenty of teams offering drives, post on the FunCup Facebook page and you should get some offers. Also, JPR nearly always have drives available, you can contact them through www.funcup.co.uk

Wow, I wouldn't expect close racing at the end of an endurance race, very good clean driving too which is nice to see.

It's also nice to see a HD video with data logging, I got to get myself one of them!

Good vid thanks for sharing.

FunCup is probably one of the most underestimated series out there. It's very low profile but as has been said, has good racing, a large number of pro-standard drivers competing yet is also good value for the paying drivers.

23 cars (ish) on track at this race - they tend to be circulating in 'clumps'. Its just coincidence that you don't see other cars in this clip.

We had nearer 30 at Brands, but the Spa 25 hr in between took out at least a couple.
