Ok i messed up and damaged good time the spring seats and locking collars on these old Spax coilovers, i have contacted Spax and they cant help as the code i gave are for the previous owner/manufacturer of the shocks which is pre 1999.

I have this pic of the unit

the code on these is

G
893
13064

Anybody know what other shocks use the same collar size/thread the ID of the collars is around 1 3/4.

The shafts are not the best but will do untill i can afford some new ones.

any help appreciated smile

just get the open and closed length(eye centre to centre) and check out other manufacturers websites for similar sizes.the spring seat adjuster plates will have separate collars as will the top mounting and can be got from such places as demon tweeks etc,so you have a reasonable scope of differing spring sizes to fit.
the difficult bit may be getting the most suitable valving rate.
