How many quotes have you had?
What car is it?
What colour is it? (Pale metallics often have colour issues & need adjacent panels blending to avoid having one panle a different shade to the rest of the side - worst case would involve painting the whole side)
If you post pics you may get better suggestions.
Is this damage to her own/your car or has she hit another car & is picking up the bill rather than involving insurance - you post is a bit coy on this - as the owner may want to use a specific bodyshop.

I'd sooner source a replacement door (ideally in the right colour).

Messing about with new door skins doesn't really make sense to me.

Seriously get an ebay door.

I don't know the year of that one but there are hundreds on ebay in really good condition for £25 to £100

This looks close http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-VECTRA-C-PASSEN...

Just to add - does the front of the rear arch involve a dent? If not its not a big job at all.

£500 tops including a new door and fitting and sorting out the arch should be more than enough.

From the pictures it does look as if the door "could" be repaired, but nowadays most places will just replace, so on that basis to skin the door, repair the rear 1/4, front door and paint the side, I'd say its very cheap. They haven't noted the wheel damage, if it was an insurance claim you'd probably want a geometry check if the wheel has had any sort of impact but in reality it's unlikely to have moved anything.
Just realised this is the damage your daughter did to the other persons car and they've got their own quote? In that case I'd say its extremely fair!

Photos can be deceiving, but that looks repairable, and with an extra bonus of the shut lines still intact, nothing an experienced panel beater couldn't sort out.

No mention of the damage to the rear arch and front door? If thats includes I would say its a fair price. Replacing a door skin is an involved process that has to be carried out correctly.
