Volvo XC90 Discs

I've just collected my wife's Volvo XC90 from an MOT and the garage told me that the front discs on it are the wrong size. I fitted them 6 weeks ago, I ordered them from Eurocarparts using the vehicle reg and had no reason to think they were wrong.

Can anyone tell me the correct diameter and thickness for XC90 discs (2006 diesel D5 model)?

The spec on Eurocarparts tells me they are 316mm dia x 28mm thick.

To be fair I've ordered the last two from Eurocarparts and they last around 1 year before warping, now I am suspecting they may be the wrong size.

There are 3 possible sizes.
316 which you have, I can't remember the middle one - think it's 320mm and the big ones - 336.

if you go to www.partsforvolvosonline.com and put your reg in there, it should give you the correct size.

Is there any way you can measure the gap between the disk and the gullet of the caliper? if it's 10-15mm you need the 336 disks.

I would imagine you'd have the 336 disks, going by the model year but not 100% on that one.

No worries - I saw the thread title and it immediately sparked my interest as I recently fitted 336mm disks and XC90 calipers to my V70
