Hi there I'm a subscriber of Spotify Premium and want to use it for two weeks in Croatia.

I looked at the Spotify website and it would seem it'll work fine in Croatia.

But other sites throw up warnings about incompatible ip addresses. I think this only applies to folks in Croatia trying to sign up to Spotify but am not sure.

Can anyone reassure me that they've used their (UK) Spotify to stream music overseas?

Thanks

Hi,

I have a UK spotify premium account and live in Spain. I have had no issues whatsoever with this and I think it would be safe to assume the same would apply to you during your holiday.

Cheers

Excellent. Was just double checking that I wouldn't need to take tons of CD's as back ups. Thanks

There's the obvious caveat about Data Costs overseas. You can make some songs available offline depending on space on your device or storage card.

You can save your playlists for offline use. As long as you remember something for all circumstances then you should be fine biggrin

Well I was assuming I'd just be using the wifi in the place I'm renting.

Update; Spotify (Premium) worked just fine so had two weeks of music no prob.

What didn't work due to licensing restrictions was streaming or renting films over Netflix, Amazon Prime or the iStore. Not that that mattered - it was just for the odd occasion the kids wanted to watch a film or an episode or two of a TV show.
