I see it completely differently. It is provoking a reaction from the kids. Experimenting with them, if you will.

I think that it's terrific.

I did some research and it is a type of Weta. Here is Bear Grylls getting bitten by one and then eating it.

I kind of want one. To photograph and to fend off intruders.

I want to kill it with fire! geeezus nasty little monster! this is when I realize how lucky we are to live in the UK and don't have badass creatures like that!

I once got out of the shower and tried to dry myself with a towel in which a weta was hiding. It bit me and drew blood...

On another occasion, I was woken up in the middle of the night by one crawling across my pillow and into my hair.
