Shh, leave him alone, I want to hear what happens next, how happy he is and then how it ends.
So what happened here, accidental pregnancy?! Fit of madness? Or just getting some attention? biggrin

even blokes who are 'child positive' in a relationship with a new bird don't give a fk enough about the kids to actually see a picture of them. I find it surprising that nearly all women with kids think other people give even the slightest st about them. Even most of their families barely raise an eyebrow. Why they think putting anything more than the number and age of kids in text form would be in any way positive is beyond me. They only need to include that basic information so that most men can immediately rule them out anyway.
I guess it falls into the range of "pictures of a hobby you do", and for a lot of parents they don't really do anything else!
it's a shame isn't it, the ones who give up their personality, hobbies and career entirely to be a Mum are the same ones that have a massive crisis when the kids are a bit older that they don't have a personality, hobbies or career and all they are is a Mum. I don't think I'd want to go near one of these "my kids are my life" types.

Aand I'm back to being single again. Oh well! I think she got scared of the possibility of a relationship after >3 years without a man in her life. Though the past few months have shown me that I have a real talent for charming the knickers off girls by text and phone. Literally in two cases!

Back to Tinder matching and updates to the POF and OKC profiles with more recent pics of downhill biking and falling off waterfalls in kayaks, and seeing where that goes!

College term is back so my local sports activity clubs have loads of new members again - which at least makes the local environment much more pleasant to look at!

Hello all,

Been lurking on this thread for ages but not sure if I've ever posted, its been so long I can't even remember.

Background is that I'm quite the seasoned dater. Been using POF and Tinder for the past two years and have been through it all. Evening dates wich have turned into getting smashed together, taking women away for filthy nights/weekends away in hotels. One week flings/ two week flings, mini relationships which have gone on for a few months, crazy women, boring women and all those in between. Not to mention many a trip to the GUM clinic for those necessary check ups!!

Anyway I just thought I'd say Hi and add a bit to the thread.

I met a woman on Monday through tinder. I picked her up from her house and we had arranged to go to a pub for a quiet drink. When I first saw her I didn't really think much of her looks and I immediately thought that she was about a 5.

During the date I soon realised that although I would probably sleep with her it would only be a brief fling rather than anything lasting. I knew I was her first online date, she was really keen and so I knew the ball was in my court. I took her home after a glass of wine and a glass of coke feeling ok about at least having a shag lined up for the weekend.

Come Wednesday I was quite bored so I text her to suggest we go swimming to the local water park for a few hours in the evening. They have Jacuzzis etc. there so I thought it would be a nice way to pass the evening. She agreed, so off i went to pick her up.

This time when I saw her she was wearing a tight summer dress and her hair and makeup looked a lot better so she went up to a 6. As always we were a bit more comfortable with each other this time and the chit chat was a lot easier on the drive to the water park, probably as I was making a bit more effort as she was now a 6. Once there, we both went in our separate changing rooms and agreed to meet by the pool. Being a man, I was at the pool a few minutes before her where I sat checking out whatever talent walked by as I waited. So eventually she appears and oh my goodness. She was wearing a leopard skin bikini, sexy tattoos all over and a tanned figure to absolutely die for. With a quick glance at her fantastic ass she had now jumped to a definite 8.

So we make our way to one of the empty hot baths where she preceded to tell me she has both her nipples pierced a long with her lady parts. 8.5!!!

A lot more flirting on my behalf through the date, we had a good laugh and so I drove her home feeling extremely happy about the prospects.

Anyway I stayed at hers last night and to say the least the sex was fantastic. We are off out on the town tonight to get pissed and a weekend of more filthy sex lined up.

In all lads, from my experience, don't always judge too harshly on a first date, a date to a swimming pool is cheap, good fun and a fantastic opportunity to check out the goods.

I'll keep you posted as no doubt she is mental and I have quite the ride in store.

Have a great weekend,

Jon

ha! Good to read these updates!

I was in serious danger of chasing after the nutter (I think I have a mental issue (maybe its being a man?) where if something is broke I feel the need to fix it.....very destructive!)

So now blasting through Tinder...may even try POF but not sure about the bio stuff. Tinder so simple.

There are many "dating" downsides to the area I am in (basically only 2 girls around my age range within around 50 miles in the last few months appearing on the most popular dating site for example), but one of the benefits socially is that most parents seem to remember they actually need some life outside the kids. So they come to parties etc., which is nice.

What is it they say about a girl's prerogative? A phone call with an apology for being an idiot, and a request to meet up again. Things look better again with that girl. Hadn't yet gotten around to organising any new dates yet with any other girls, so all is good.

What are their rules on emails and "winks"? I keep reading things on how it's a bit of a scam because if you don't pay you can't actually read or reply to anything?

Why not consider expanding your age range then?

You could well be pleasantly surprised and find yourself with somebody you like that you'd otherwise not have met due to self-imposed arbitrary criteria.

Well, that's that - again frown this one lasted a couple of months as well, but when they say it's over what more can you do!

OKC has never looked so unappealing as well - it's pretty much a sea of obesity, and no matter how many people say "it's what's inside that counts", I can't get excited over fat girls, never have been able to - never will.

18-50 then. What's the worst that could happen?

At 25 my sisters friend was 48 and I would have ridden her like shergar and I still would now I'm 31 and she's even older!

Plus it takes a lot of extra work to get to their insides...

Don't get me wrong - I don't mind 'curvy', but there's 'curvy' (14-16 and tall enough to carry it off), and there's 'online-dating curvy' (seems like anyone size 20+ or 5ft^3)

If they can't tell the truth on a profile based on first impressions, then what else are they going to be economical with if you did hit it off?

"I have a job" - I'm on the dole
"Of course I'm clean" - I'm riddled
"I don't have kids" - I've got a football team

Being that relationships are generally based on trust, it's not "A Good Thing" to immediately start off with wholesale misrepresentation!!
