Note to self. A chest infection, antibiotics, nicotine withdrawal, smacked off my tits on day nurse and a couple of large glasses of white and a date round my place don't mix.... I knew I should've cancelled frown

But on a positive note she did take pity on me and has invited me round hers next week hoorah..!!
you must be a hero to get a second chance in that context!
The maternal switch was flicked as she took pity on him.
yea there's that turns a woman on more than a man that needs pitying and looking after...

Current girl is now serious....and a new one for me - age gap!

I'm 40 (but live like a well off student) and she's 25 and lives with her mum.

I look 35 at worse so its not too bad.....but my 18 year old isnt happy! (the other 3 kids are cool as they are younger boys and have no issue with hot girls!)

Seems your eighteen year old daughter may be needing a new boyfriend shortly, (form an orderly queue gents) but advise her not to throw kitchen knives (they are much better slashing weapons :P ). Enjoy the ride while it lasts Tiggsy the mental is bound to kick in soon enough.

bks. A stroke of genius. A) She now thinks that seeing her was extremely important because he didn't cancel, and B) The maternal switch was flicked as she took pity on him.

Prepare to breed
Well it gets better... I vaguely recall through the haze of alcohol, antibiotics and day nurse a conversation around half term when she's got a couple of days to herself and we'd spoken about going out for the day or something. She text me earlier asking what we were going to do.... Oh I'll book us into a nice spa hotel overnight says I. Sounds great says she..... Bonus smile

Never pay full price, they'll E Mail you with offers for evermore, you can even ring and ask for a deal.
I'm trying to get a month's membership and they won't budge on the price. They want £44.95. Cheeky buggers.

The art of negotiation :-)

Leave It and they'll E Mail you an offer in the not too distant if they have your details.

Anyhow, a word of caution to all internet daters..............Christmas is a coming!

Here's what happens at this time of year.

Girls sign up to dating sites and will promise (and in some cases give) you the world, but they have a motive and that is to fill their stockings with trinkets.

In exchange the very willing suitor may well find he is able to bat well above his average for a time.

Normal service will be resumed soon after 25th December when she decides it's not going to last and you will be left staring at your Visa bill and the list of transactions at Agent Provocateur, Debenhams perfume counter and Kurt Geiger.

Still it'll all start again before the summer holidays.

Doesn't happen all the time but women know the way to a mans wallet is not via your trouser pocket evil

hehe

Mid-November to late Feb, got to get New Year and Valentine's Day in as signiifcant occasions not to be single upon, lest the scorn of spinsterhood descend upon them.

Then as you say, single again until late May and they fancy not going on a summer holiday alone, banking on a Shirley Valentine.

Question- a friend of mine went on match for a month. I asked how it was going and she replied 'men are hardwork, I really don't understand them'.

I didn't want to delve but ?? Surely - see pic, exchange an email or two then meet? She didn't even meet anyone in person.
so... what was your question?

From general discussions with a number of dates recently on their experiences on match I think the general consensus is that a lot of men conduct themselves on dating sites like proper bellends.
