Currently on Grandma caring duties. She is refusing to get off the bed pan and demanding an ice lolly. I don't want to treat an 90yr old like a child but I feel a deal coming on.

I always thought you can't teach your Grandma to suck eggs, now we know the truth.

One here for Leafy - snapped in a very landlocked industrial estate in the bottom of Liverpool! God knows what it is doing there, but it appears to be a fully functional hull with internal bracing, and not just a cosmetic shell

How strange... a narrow boat parked in the road scratchchin is there a shot-blasting firm near by?

Basically you can buy them completed to any extent you want... personally I'd like a 10-8-6, fully lined sail away.

(10mm hull plating, 8mm topsides, 6mm superstructure, insulated, wood panelled inside and with the 12v electrics and engine fitted.) Then I can just stick the interior bulkheads where I want them fit a bathroom and kitchen then decorate.

Ah... a neighbour over the road starts her car and drives away immediately... this irritates me.

I'll fire up my Land Rover (or any car for that matter) and sit there for 5+ minutes, wipe the windscreen, wipe the dials, check all the switches work, check the mirrors, get comfy (wonder why they fitted a 2 pin power socket AND a cigarette lighter scratchchin ) then drive it gently for a couple of miles before driving normally.

Dunno... I only follow darts and that's because I play darts, it's the only sport I can win at reasonably consistently (and it's indoors... in the pub)
