For TD's in tiers 4-6 you won't go far wrong with the American's, although the TD's have had recent view range nerf's which have hurt across the board.

The T67 at tier 5 is still very deadly - mobile, fast firing, very good camo, so would always recommend this one. Tier 6 the hellcat can always be very strong, but the SU100 from the Russian tree is also very very good, especially fully researched with the 122mm. The tier 4 US TD from the T110E3 line (T40 I think) was also super op when I played it, but this was before the view range nerfs and might not apply anymore.

If you wanted to go the hipster route then the French line would be a decent choice - the SAU at tier 4 with derp is amusing, the S35CA at tier 5 is very well gunned if slow, and the Arl at tier 6 is so bad its funny (it was just buffed in the latest patch, although not anywhere that counted by the looks of it).

Edit to add - if you want a heavy at tier 6 then the T-150 is brilliant, and probably pretty effective for many of the heavy missions

The only TD line i went down was the yanks, finishing with the T95 which i bought and used but sold after about 50 games (it had the top equipment and gun) as everyone shot through the armour and it was just too slow! Great when it all worked 10% of the time though.

Might have to try the Russian TD's, ive only got the IS6 + T8 arty which are Russian!

Do you know if they have added more missions to the Medium tank line? I was on the mission where your platoon must get 3 kills and each member must cause damage to the tanks the platoon destroys. I had completed all missions with honours up to this one, yet I now have 3 previous missions with no results showing frown

I have one more mission to go to get my Stug IV. It's the final light tank mission to spot and enable your allies to cause 4000 damage.

What an absolute git it is!

Am trying to do the other mission 15s with honours so I can skip the light tank one but they're not that easy either.

Yup, same here, as above. Mildly annoying.

They've changed it in the patch yesterday, so now damage you do yourself also counts to the 4000 damage. It doesn't make it that much easier, but it helps. Take a high tier (7/8) light tank, hope for a spotting map and when it looks like the spotting damage has dried up then try for as much damage you can get. Just got to be careful not to get killed as then you don't get the honours.

Still think 4k is too much for the Stug missions though, it seems out of step with the other classes. 3k, including damage, would have been more appropriate.

Also on the missions they changed the order of some of them - that might explain why missions have appeared uncompleted earlier in the list than before. You shouldn't have any more to complete, they might just be in different places.

They changed the rewards around too, so some people on the T55A set of missions, who previously hadn't completed missions that give a free garage slot, suddenly found the missions they had done got the garage slot reward and the uncompleted ones credit rewards instead. This seems a bit unfair to me, but such is life.

Ah that will make it a bit easier for sure. I've been using the T71 and Bulldog to try and complete the mission and sometimes it's surprising just how much damage you can put out.

Oh, you made it then. It's not that easy to find, but once you do, you can spend all day in there really.

Its sign-posted for miles around and everyone has sat-nav!!! Not only that but Monkey World is next door which is sign posted from the next county! :-)

But- it is a great day out agreed, also not far from the station and airport so doable from great distances with ease and lots of nice places to stay nearby (Swanage, Weymouth, Wareham, Poole, Bournemouth etc)

Tank fest is on the 27th - 28th June, fantastic day out (sadly clashes with FoS this year), great chance to see some tanks in action including their Tiger.

Had my first games tonight after a few weeks rest as I was bored of the issues. So I'd spotted the new patch was out and gave it a go.

Game 1: Stuart Tank, i go ahead to spot - higher tier tank comes up and rams me out of cover (still waiting for team to push forward), de-tracking me and damage. He pushes me out into the open. My track repairs, and i drive back behind cover and he gets owned. However now in a compromised position i die at a T1 Heavy coming round.

Game 2: Cromwell, game starts some a T25(German)?! asks me to platoon up okay cool, says follow him but his tank is very slow so i push a little further (again within first 20seconds of game start) BOOM hit.. wtf? oh it was from the ever so nice chap asking to platoon up for no reason, i stop he drives past and straight around a corner into 3 enemy light tanks which finish him quickly.

Game 3: E100, game lasts longer and I do about 3K damage and a kill comes down to 5 vs 2 at the enemy spawn area so i move slowly to get a peak for our arty (only arty and heavys on our team), i get de-tracked by the hidden JgPzr E100 to which i spot in chat me getting a barrage of abuse from some dude (who it turns out his platoon (3 tanks) did less damage than just me) because i got de-tracked (even though me spotting the enemy tanks finished the games within a few seconds).

Game 4: no game 4. I quit out.

Has the game really come to being a complete mess. I've reported people but guessing nothing ever happens. Anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid the idiots? I'd be more than happy waiting 2/3/4x for each game to only play with people who have good rep/history.

With the platoon mission requirements removed suddenly it's mission launch day all over again, give it a few days and it'll calm down.

cant remember if I posted these in this thread but this is from their Market Garden tribute from last year. Sorry for the photo quality I am crap at manual focus lenses and didnt realise how out of focus they were until I put them on the PC.

Also sorry for the slight thread derail lol

The action kicked off with a P-51 making mock ground attack runs on the encamped germans followed by the red devils.

Plus here is a vid of the WW2 tanks from the 2013 show smile
