These cars need regular use or they weep oil... Quite a common problem this, even if you get them fixed and don't use them regularly they just weep oil again!

Never got to find out for sure. As you can see in the photo, the rear bumper isn't on properly. Why were the wheels painted grey?

Probably fair value then if you consider it'll have a checkered past

With import duties, shipping, registration, etc. it would have been about £80k to get it on the road here - a decent price for a straight 10,000 miles GT3 RS.

Andrew,

has it been bought by a UK dealer/buyer then ?

They don't drive any better at these high prices - in all probability you will not want to drive one much, but polish it more.

Quite a price difference between the two they have for sale.
I'm probably overlooking something but bar the mileage what else is the reason for a £30k difference?

Gents, there have been moans about RS price increases for half a year now !
And the Dealers are still putting prices up.And logic tells one that in 10 years they will be even dearer. So there is no point in bleating on about it, ''Certain'' cars are a valuable collectable commodity, and will increase as demand outweighs the availability. Feel sorry instead for 99% of car owners, especially Maserati Ferrari and Aston berks who lose pounds every minute ! I was with a Ferrari 458 Italia owner yesterday whose 15000 mile car is completely seized underneath, in a truly shocking state . Ferraris dont like rain and our weather. Porsches dont mind !

Both the JZM cars are now showing as sold, did somebody say they were priced too high? Wrong!,,

The thing is these cars seem to get sold but no-one seems to know who bought them..its quite a small community in these cars..am I being cynical or are dealers just posting them as sold and keeping them locked away for a few months as prices(hopefully) rise.

Having dealt with JZM, I don't believe they would ever do this. Genuine cars, genuinely for sale. No doubt Russ is still trying to gauge the market in the same way all sellers are. Most of their RS' have sold within days, so it makes sense for them to push the boundaries. The 150k 6RS looked a bridge too far, but clearly it's not.

People have been talking prices down for quite a while now, and it's probably about time everyone got used to the new normal.

That won't have sold! Unless the new owner comes on here and posts take it as unsold! This trick is why there has been a big increase in prices and most are falling for it. People who comment other wise have 6rs's tucked away, don't they alpinestar wink

So how come they haven't done that with one or two of the four 993 turbo/s they have had for sale for the last couple of months?

Because if they did they'd probably have a queue of people trying to sell their 993 Turbo's for similar money. Between JZM and Hexagon they have 10 993 Turbo's for sale so there are enough on the market to cap prices.

I notice the 993 Turbo S they had up for sale at £250k is now POA....i.e. they've reduced it's price substantially I would guess.

I'm beginning to think the same thing. Would it really be possible to effectively manipulate the market by doing this?
