Anyone heading out for a look this weekend?

Start is in the CBD on Thursday, can think of worse ways to spend my lunch break if I worked close enough to the city!

Funnily enough I just came on here to post a link to the event!

I'd not heard of it before, its only come to my attention because we test vehicles at Whiteman Park and cant do so today because of this event. May well still find an excuse to get up there this afternoon though!

What sorta stuff do you test up Whiteman?

I'm servicing for my neighbor who's piloting a GTR.

That was the one you were trying to find a model of?

There is or was a runway in Whiteman too somewhere.

Thats the one - Through the local RC car club I found a Dutch guy who builds some incredible models. He came in to see us and bought along a Volvo excavator which he'd built from scratch and must have been 4 feet long + the boom and included working hydraulics etc.

We have commissioned him to build a truck for us.

There is a runway up there which is used for model planes.

Great weekend, didn't see much but they finished up 3rd outright after our fair share of dramas so it paid off!
