Can someone give me a a rough width of a tiger avon, westfield ect, without its wheels on?

2057mm with the frame of the garage taking another 200mm off...

1857mm is the width available. Is that too small to get a kit car into....

Sad times...

Widest part of an Avon (and everyother car I can think of) is the rear arches so removing the wheels won't alter the width.

Don't know the Avon width but I'd guess it wouls be under 6' so <1800mm

If you could get a Sierra in your garage, a Sierra based Lotus 7 replica will fit

My Fury (1550mm W across widest point - rear tyres @ ground level) lives in a mews garage space I get to rent cheap because little else will fit for most driver/car combos* The outward-opening doors are actually 1790mm between jambs - the real issue is (for most cars) being able to turn-in close enough to 90degrees across the narrow street to make it, with < 4-6" clearance per side.

The space next to me is occupied by a 5yr old Mini. It takes a wonder of see-sawing for the owner to extract it!

  • so the owner was happy with a silly offer wink
