Hi Rich, it was to PF, but only because that's the first time I have seen a pic of his car, and a mutual friend told me how you are doing. There seem to be an alarming number of TVR prangs at present.

When I was up at Fiberon, Julian said he had another chim coming in after mine, must had been PF, main thing is hopefully no injuries and that the cars are getting repaired.
Although the damage looks severe it really is quite repairable, I replaced all the suspension and wishbones to be on the safe side with mine and now its only lumps of plastic that need sorting and it will be as good as new, PF will be the same, it mentally hurts when it happens more so if its your own fault !!!!

Richard,

Oh NO!

I've only just picked up this thread. Your motor was lovely, I hope that she'll be even better after the re-furb.

We met a few times around our home town (I think you started her up in the Asda car park so I could have a listen to the exhaust note last year).

If you need a hand putting her back together give me a PM.

Blimey that lost traction very quick ,don't like the comments on the video where it said you were arrested for failing a breath test.....no need to mention that

Tovie thanks, quite how they came by this info I don't know, I posted a thread some time back about the increase in car cameras and the comments of these self proclaimed police so be careful out there!!!!!
Just for the record I was found to be well under the limit when tested so someone had something wrong with equipment that day and no further action was taken for anything.
It still baffles me as to why it broke away so quickly as I never felt anything from the front end to indicate a greasy road. While the car is apart I am tempted to whip the dif out and get it checked over in case the LSD did anything daft
The damage was all superficial and the chassis was unscathed, she is coming back together now and will be better than new when finished

Thanks Dave, she was nice but will be better soon, hopefully she will be back from painting this coming week and I have a new scheme for her, hopefully will look different and stunning
Just giving the engine a refresh while it is out, nothing serious as it was a very strong lump but found the cam worn so replacing that together with mains and big ends etc
If you get a mo call round

This one was posted by the owner on the club site.. Similar scenario just breaking away on a straight.

Great to see your car in progress thumbup

Maybe worth keeping your eye on the forum to see if anything unfolds (It's in the WWM region)

could be due to some small fluid leak creeping under the bottom of the car under speed, like oil/cooling-water/petrol/wish-wash water (say from a small leak or overfill pipe)...and then lands on one of the rear tires, which then can slide/spin under some load.

Won't be long now mate.
Richie I've got issues with my back so I'm not working down Gazza's place so much, give me some notice and I'll gladly help out in the garage.
